New Look, New Skills, New Vision

To some of you, I would have most recently been known as World of Original Websites at Affordable Web Design. Being that this was more of a sentence than a business name, it was time for some re-branding. My name, Melissa, in Greek, means 'Honey Bee' and the new platform that I am going to be using, and telling you about here, is called Woogloo – what a more fitting combination...beegloo!

Not only did I have to create a new look for my business but I had to gain some new skills in the process. The internet has expanded and the online consumer is far more educated that ever before. I needed to find an affordable solution for my web design clients. I also found that clients ultimately wanted to maintain control over their own websites while continuing to display a professional image and maintain functionality.

I spent a long time doing a lot of research in the hopes of finding the perfect product. What looked like great platforms, were inevitably priced over the moon and platforms that appeared to be priced reasonably were just too difficult to manipulate. It seemed that I would never find the one product that would do it all for me and, as I am not a programmer - and get no joy from writing code – I couldn't create the platform myself.
